“ Thank you so much for the in person yoga class last night. It did exactly what you said on the tin… “inner calm etc”. I slept very deeply through the night without waking up (which is a miracle for me a lifelong insomniac). It was my first yoga class in probably over 2 years and after a very miserable long winter with incapacitating underlying joint issues exacerbated by annual rheumo flare up, I was a bit nervous re my lack of fitness. But as you reminded us, I listened to my body, was kind, and rewarded with the most blissful yielding in the yin yoga stretches that I’ve not experienced in my 8 years of yoga practice. “ Toma is the most exceptional yoga teacher. I have suffered from severe scoliosis since I was 10 years old(I am now 25), which causes excruciating back pain. I have had surgeries/physiotherapy to help improve my pain but Toma has helped me build my strength and flexibility up and I have never felt better so I would recommend to everyone that is experiencing any stiffness or pain to give Toma’s yoga classes a go as many people assume that it may make symptoms worse, but if you explain your issues to Toma she will help tailor the positions to suit your conditions. I have tried other yoga classes but they do not have the same affect as Toma’s, so I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart for giving me a better quality of life!”
